Lizabeth
Happy Friday everyone! Because it's weekend🤗, I'd like to know your plans 😁 but if you don't have any, I want to recommend an incredible movie that explores the life of Oscar Grant III, a young African American man who was killed by a Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) police officer in Oakland, California. The movie is called "Fruitvale Station" and it was directed by Ryan Coogler. The movie tells the story of Oscar's last day alive, and it gives us a powerful and moving insight into the struggles and challenges that Black people face in America. The performances by Michael B. Jordan and Octavia Spencer are outstanding, and the script is both raw and realistic. If you haven't seen "Fruitvale Station" yet, then I think you should, it would be great to unwind with it for the weekend. It's available on streaming platforms such as Netflix and Amazon Prime. Let me know what you think of it when you do watch it
